A-Teen-No-More

I have to admit. I was sad to celebrate my birthday away from home. I thought it was gonna be a sad one. Things did seem that way few days before it happened but that's another story. Anyways, turned out it was one of the best birthdays ever!

12 a.m sharp (NZ time), and I received a call from my family wishing me a very happy birthday. I was happy and suprised and I could not stop crying. I didn't expect they would wish me on time but they did anyway. Later on, my friends came and surprised me with a cake - homemade cake which makes it much more special and meaningful. Then Remedy came with lasagna which he cooked himself! It was definitely a supernice surprise. My tears stop and I was smiling wide. My family, Remedy and friends were all there for me and I couldn't ask for more. It was another perfect birthday. Although, I really wish my family could be there in person.

The surprise did not stop there. I followed Remedy to his room later on to take some stuff. There it was. Layed nicely on his beds. Chocolates, teddy bears, and popped-up cards (which he made himself)!

"Are you happy? Those chocolates and teddy bears are from your family"

More tears of happiness.

"This is from me". He pulled a box from his shelf and opened it, showing me the shoes he got me.

It was truly a dream come true and I'm so happy and grateful for everything. Special thanks to my family, Remedy and my friends for the best birthday ever!
