One Year After Graduation - Where Am I?

Today marks one year since my graduation and looking back at the year that has gone by so very quickly, I am so damn happy and proud of where I am standing now.

When I was approaching the end of my degree life in New Zealand, I tried my best to get a job there. It was my dream to stay but too bad it wasn't meant to be. I was super frustrated and heartbroken but I know it wasn't the end. Luckily enough, I came back home to a job waiting for me, at my dream firm. I was happy and grateful. I was even more happy to learn that Remedy got into the same firm as I did.

I joined my friends in setting up my college alumni, which was a beginning to something big. We succeeded in collaborating with few accounting firms and i network with some top people in the industry. I became closer to my old friends and made new great memories. It was also a platform of us giving back to our college for giving us the opportunity to chase our dream and making it all happen. And it was the best feeling ever.

Got my first salary and took my parents to fancy dinner.

I survived my first audit peak period in which, I failed, learnt and improved. Faced some hard criticism, lost my confidence, cried, almost give up and slowly got back on my feet. I am happy to say now, that I have progress and slowly improve in my career.

I became an adult and start paying my dues. Start taking responsibilities of my own and learnt how to properly manage my finances and pay my bills.

I had another great birthday celebration with my dear family, Remedy and friends. Super grateful and blessed.

I sat for my very first professional paper, which I learnt the hard way is super damn hard and not what I expected at all. Degree was a piece of cake to compare. Alhamdulillah, after weeks of late night studying and waking up at 4am daily, I passed my paper.

I bought my very first house.

I went on a great trip with my friends and explore another beauty of Malaysia. We had so much fun and another fun memory was made. I also went on a great trip with my family, exploring Malaysia's Maldive.

I achieved another year with Remedy.
