KYSB has done so many for me. It is the reason I am where I am today. So, when KYSB asked me to assist them in an event, how can I ever say no?

It was a great experience, a bit tiring but I enjoyed every second of it! Of course I was not alone. There were Ayesha, Mai, Huda, Akid and Stif. It was good to be reunited with some of the KYSB peeps. To meet some of the lecturers, tutors, staffs and of course, Mr Zaidi himself.

Other than meeting the old faces, of course we enjoyed the beautiful view and the amazing hotel (probably the main reason we came anyways hahaha joking).

So there's nothing much to say bout the trip as we did not do much. The first day arrived, there was only me and Stif. Mr Rahim brought us to this shop where we ate Nasi Kandar. It was quite nice I guess. We spent the next few hours in bed before rehearsal in the evening. Then we went to the beach, just enjoying the view. Finally, it was time for dinner. I can't believe it was so hard to find halal food in Penang but we managed anyways, after quite a long dangerous walk. Akid joined us shortly after. Then back to the hotel and reunite with the rest of the girls who just arrived.

The next day was pretty much work for the whole day. We met about 15 school principals and councellors from schools around the Malaysia. I saw my school name in the list but too bad my teachers couldn't make it :( Anyways, we shared our experience with everyone and it felt nice. When I ended highschool, I have never imagine of being in such position. To come back from overseas and have people asking for your opinions and stories and recommendations as well as suggestions. With 6 people on the team, we managed to entertain everyone who came. And of course, I learnt quite few things more about KYSB, Auckland and Christchurch. We had few hours break before dinner session, and I spent it photoshooting by the beach with Ayesha (hahahahaha). We were joined by the rest of the gang later on. Dinner was much more relaxing. I really enjoyed the food. We planned to watch movie together but instead we snooze off 15 minutes into the movie as we were so so so so tired.

The next morning was the last day. Woke up quite late, had breakfast and finally start packing to leave. Ayesha and I met one of the hotel worker and he was supernice (in a sort of weird way). He was giving us tissue boxes, pencils (lots of them) and water bottles. Kept saying Ayesha looked like his daughter. Few hours before flight, we were at Gurney Paragon, enjoying dessert at Salon du Chocolat. Damn it was yummy. Then off to Nasi Kandar. Finally, we said our goodbyes.

Thank you for the amazing weekend KYSB :D
