Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Maaf Zahir dan Batin!

This year marks the second time I'm celebrating Eid Celebration away from family :( It is sad to not have them and all the good food, but at least I got my friends and it is definitely a good experience.

Unfortunately, this year FIANZ announced the Eid Celebration quite at the last minute and it came early by one day than expected. And so, I was in Dunedin having dinner when we found out and of course we were unprepared. The first day of Raya was basically wasted, Woke up late, ate maggi and rushed to the airport for our flight to Wellington. I didn't get to wear my Raya clothes until the 4th day of Raya!

But all was good once we land in Wellington as there was food waiting for us. We gathered and eat and sing Raya songs. So I guess, it was not all that bad.

Called my family, talked to all the cousins and everything was better.

I would like this opportunity to wish all my loved ones, a very Happy Aidilitri, Maaf Zahir & Batin! Please forgive any wrong doings, shortcomings, disappointments and all the troubles that I have caused each and every one of you. May this Raya makes the bond between us stronger and let us all strive to be better. Have a blessed Raya with your loved ones, have fun, take care and stay safe!
