It's a wrap!

Malaysian Night finally happened and it went better than I expected. The night was perfect, thanks to my amazing team and everyone who came. Everyone followed the colour theme of red, white and black. The whole event was looking elegant and beautiful, the food was great, the performance was good, the theatre was amazing and funny, everything was wonderful, it was definitely a night to remember.

After three months of struggling with issues on sponsors, venues, problems with performances and students not coming, all those time and energy spent, the hard work finally paid off. Thank you WMSO for entrusting me to be the project manager for Malaysian Night 2016. It’s a great honour. The past three months, preparing for this event has taught me a lot about my potentials and weaknesses. Along with the great lessons, I was also given the opportunity to work with a team consisting of great talented people. We faced a few hurdles along the way but we managed to overcome them. Without the team, this night would have not happen. So, endless thank you to them.

“Ratusan Purnama” translates to “Hundres of Moons” reflect the never-ending strength of friendships formed among us. Being away from home has certainly played a part in forging strong friendships that we have. This is our home away from home. This is our family. So, here’s to a night of celebrating friendships, family and the memories that we have created along the way.

The night was perfect, everyone loved it. It was a dream come true.
