My Very First Theatre Experience

I've been obsessed lately with this one drama - Dia Semanis Honey which portrays a story about a couple and their challenges in marriage. Sort of cliche but not quite and very very dramatic. My kind of drama, the ones that involved psychotic third party, kidnapping, killings, jealousy and just so much drama. The drama was released in early 2016. I've heard about it but never watch it. Why? I'm not quite sure. As much as I love Alif Satar (the hero), I wasn't quite fond of the cast and thus, no interest in the series. But when I went back to Malaysia during summer, the production was staging a musical version of that drama at Istana Budaya and I don't know why but it got me so interested to go and I did with Girlfriend. Plus, she has always wanted to go cause she was a super fan. And that musical made me fell in love with the story. It was so much better than the one that I was obsessed before. The story was much more solid and interesting, the story line was better and the hero - I kept melting and falling for him all through the musical and he was just 😍. Probably because he had similar characteristics to Remedy and he was sensitive and the jealous type. I love jealous guys. And his voice was just WOW. And he cried and loved so much. And he was just so so so perfect! I have not stop replaying the drama series and videos from the night. And to emphasise how amazing the theatre was, I went there AGAIN with my sister. And although I knew what was gonna happen, the theatre was still amazing and I was still so impressed. The only regrets that I have was not recording more of the theatre and missing my favourite scene - the blind date. But other than that, it was amazing. And, I got the chance to meet Alif Satar and Siti Nordiana!
